My favorite pumps for work Cole Haan Chelsea Pumps. I've gone through several pairs of their classic heels from past seasons. The current option is the Chelsea Pump with the 3.5 inch heel (also available with a lower heel option). They are on the higher side since there is a built in platform in the sole but they are extremely comfortable. My shoe size ranges from 6.5 to 7.5 US depending on the designer and style. Past season pumps from Cole Haan I've been a 7. For this model I had to go up a size to 7.5 but with heel pads since the 7 was too small.
Also a top favorite for special occasions is the Christian Louboutin 70mm Classic Black Pumps (patent version here). The heel is on the lower end for Louboutins. My shoe size varies depending on the style, for these I wear the 37.5.

What are your favorite classic pumps?
My absolute fave pumps are the ones I purchased from Sole Society. They are black faux suede with a slight pointed toe and 1/2inch platform with 3.5 or 4.0 inch heel. I'm 5'7" and rock these heels almost daily. They are extremely comfy.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what I'd do without Cole Haan! I'm more of a ballet flat girl thanks to running around all day, but couple of heels I have from brand are wonderfully comfortable as well.
My all-time fave pumps are from L.K. Bennett. Somehow, this brand fits my feet the best. Btw, your pumps look so PRISTINE compared to mine which are all beaten up and well-worn. Nice selections!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love Cole Haan pumps !! They are the most comfortable pair of heels I have ever bought and they are so pretty. Have you ever tried the Cole Haan flats? I own a couple of pairs of those as well and are great too.
ReplyDeleteBefore I retired, I all but lived in Cole Haan pumps. They just fit my foot perfectly and were so comfortable even though I was on my feet a good portion of the day. I also wore a lot of pumps by Stuart Weitzman and Paolo. They also had the "I can wear these all day!" comfort factor. When you find a brand that fits your foot so perfectly, you stick with it :-)
ReplyDeletethanks so much for your review on these cole hann shoes...just a quick question on sizing. when you went up a half size to 7.5, did you also went for a wider width? am trying to decide if it would be better that I go up a width size or to take a half size bigger in the same width. I cant try them instores because they dont carry the larger sizes... :(
