Weekend Day Trip: Bouchon/Montage Beverly Hills

Weekend day trip essentials: large roomy tote to carry water, camera, wallet and a small makeup bag, comfy flats. Above: Goyard St. Louis, below: Balenciaga flats.

This weekend I took a short trip to Beverly Hills but packed the day with breakfast at Bottega Louie, lunch at Bouchon, window shopping on Rodeo Drive and people watching. I wish I took more photos of the Bouchon Bakery, Bistro and Bar. If you're ever in the area in search of a beautiful rest spot to snack, lunch or relax, I highly recommend you visit the Montage. There's a courtyard in between the Montage and Bouchon Bistro (upstairs), Bar (downstairs) and small bakery (lower level at the bottom of the stairway to the bistro).

I've only visited the Bouchon Bakery and Bar in Beverly Hills a small handful of times, yet each time I've been extremely pleased. The bakery has beautiful large colorful macarons, a nice selection of coffees, and quick bites. Everything is delicious. My husband and I had a late lunch at the Bar on the lower patio, we were seated quickly even though they had a full house. I found the quality of the food to be excellent, matching the same quality and style as their Bistro in Yountville.

A couple photos for now. Will definitely take more my next trip. More on Bottega Louie (another favorite) to come soon.

  1. Whenever I meet friends in BH for a day of shopping, we'll often stop at the bakery for a good cup of coffee and yummy pastry before hitting the freeways to head home. I also like the bakery's light lunch fare. The vegetarian sandwich is quite good.
